Join other parents to craft a more equitable future for Oakland students and families on April 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  at Fremont High School (4610 Foothill Blvd, Oakland). This day will bring Oakland parents together with some of our brightest district leaders to talk about what works when it comes to school integration, why it matters, and what we might want to try in Oakland to achieve more equitable schools.

  • 9:00 to 12:00: Hear about national models for equity and integration in schools and how Oakland measures up.
  • 1:00 to 4:00: Participate in small working sessions with other parents and organize to make a difference.

Child care, translation and lunch will be provided—but RSVPs are needed.
