The Claremont Knights flag football team’s strong season came to an end on Saturday afternoon, when Coach David Doubley’s squad lost in the conference championship game, 18-0, to United for Success (formerly known as Calvin Simmons Middle School). The Knights, who were undefeated until Saturday, came within one victory of playing in the city championship.

The Knights then had to come back just a few hours later to play against United for Success, which had a much easier time in its morning playoff match against Montera Middle School.

Overall, our team can be very proud of their successes on the field, and as always, we are tremendously grateful to Coach Doubley for his expert coaching and positive attitude throughout the season.
