Representatives of the Oakland Unified School District will host a community engagement meeting on Thursday, April 21, to discuss proposals for new construction at Claremont Middle School.

The agenda will include an overview of the community engagement process by OUSD community engagement specialist Charles Cole III , a report from Claremont Building Committee by committee member Shelly Fierston, presentation of two site plan options by architect Susannah Meek. and an interactive session inviting comments about the proposed plans.

This meeting is open to the public, including students, parents, staff, teachers and residents of surrounding neighborhoods. The meeting will take place on the Claremont campus starting at 6:30 p.m.
