We are excited to begin the school year on Aug. 21 with the Great American Solar Eclipse.
We will have a great time learning from this astronomical event while being safe by NOT looking directly at the sun.
Here’s the game plan on Eclipse Day:
  • Students will watch a 3-minute video on the eclipse and receive viewing instructions, including how not to look directly into the sun.
  • We will give all students 15 minutes during the peak of the eclipse with safety viewing glasses and pinhole viewers.
  • 7th and 8th grade will view the eclipse during their break, and 6th grade will be able to view the eclipse from 10:00 to 10:15.
Parents: Please feel free to stop by and assist and experience this event yourself. Please check in at the front office and we will meet on the black top near Miles Gate.

Thank you for your time and support.
